Basic Training

Basic Training is Monday - Friday, 5 days a week for 4-6 weeks. Tuition is $75 a week and $25 yearly Registration fee. It is absolutely imperative that your child attends every session during training. Children learn best with consistency and routine. Muscle memory is a huge factor in swimming which also takes lots of consistency, by missing sessions we then have to retrain on actions we've already learned.

- Fun Fridays- The first and last Friday of your child's course I strongly encourage you or a caretaker to join their lesson to learn how to practice at home.

- Practice- Please DO NOT try to practice swimming or floating at home before learning hands on with me and your child in the pool. Training takes consistency.

- Videos & pictures- I do not mind pictures. Please let me know before taking a video and keep your videos to short 1 minute segments.

-Floatation devices-Once your child begins the program it is very important you discontinue using floatation devices as we are attempting to build correct muscle memory puddle jumpers and arm floaties will do the opposite

-Check Off - at the end of basic training I will ask you to bring your child to a lesson fully dressed in winter clothes and regular diaper. During this session your child will demonstrate the life saving skills they've learned. I do request parents to be silent during this lesson.
